The performance is open to the general public, with a gold coin requested upon entry.

Supported by Flinders University, the program is now in its 12th year. All submitted works are one-act, original and previously unpublished, with the judging panel selecting two winners who each receive a week’s script development with Associate Director Catherine Fitzgerald, $500 cash and a 3 play State Theatre Company subscription.

 

A cast of professional actors will perform the two winning plays at a staged reading at The Studio, Holden Street Theatre, on Friday 29 July at 7pm, with the winners also presented with their prizes at this time.
