When Sharon and Jase have their first child; Sharon declares, "Jaaaa-aase, we need more space!"… and Jase replies, "Sharon, keep ya hair on, we'll just build a little bit more on…"
And so kicks off a fully interactive concert narrative in the Patch Theatre Company show Sharon, Keep Your Hair On!, based on books by Gillian Rubinstein and David Mackintosh.
Presented in a multimedia, pop concert format, the show includes fantastic live music set in a studio with live video projections. Twenty-five audience members get the chance to play roles in a chaotic, fun filled story about how to adapt to change in an ever changing world.
'A high tech show that liberally splashes real-time television interviews with singing, poetry, live music and structured play…. Rubinstein’s wacky characters come to life through toe-tapping melodies flavoured with pop, rock, reggae, doo-wap, jazz and funk. Splash some dramatic lighting, cool effects and large screen projection and you have a captive audience of little ones.' Anna Borowiecki, St Albert Gazette, Edmonton, Canada
