Pomona Road is a documentary/dance performance that explores the effects the Ash Wednesday bushfires had on Adelaide Hills (and greater Adelaide) residents in the 1980’s. 

The show includes recorded interviews from community members mixed with stunning dance theatre and cutting edge sound and visual design.  Nic Mollison has created textured digital environments from photos, videos and images which will form the backdrop of the show, and at times, project on the performers themselves.

Pomona Road deals with trauma, loss of identity and having to start again.  It explores how adversity can bring families and communities together and re-define important social and interpersonal values.
